Coffee is life, so when Joe Public was appointed by Barista Bar to lead an integrated B2B, trade and consumer communications programme we were pumped!

Working on a retained basis, we’re going to be supporting the coffee-to-go brand as it plans further UK and international expansion. We’ll be working across corporate communications, trade PR and consumer activations, helping the business raise awareness, strengthen its leadership position and unlock new growth opportunities.

Barista Bar is currently ranked as the UK’s third-largest automatic coffee provider, with more than 900 self-serve coffee machines installed across retail and forecourt locations nationwide.

Having grown significantly beyond its Northern Ireland roots, the brand has expanded into Scotland through a major partnership with SPAR and is building an increasingly strong presence across Great Britain. It now has ambitious plans for further growth across England and internationally, backed by continued investment in innovation, partnerships and customer experience.

Mark Stewart-Maunder, Commercial and Development Director at Henderson Foodservice, added: “We were looking for a PR partner that understood retail, food-to-go and the commercial realities facing operators, while also bringing fresh thinking and energy to the brand.

“Joe Public demonstrated a clear understanding of our ambitions and presented a bold strategic approach that will genuinely help us raise awareness, strengthen our leadership position and support the next phase of growth for Barista Bar.”

Barista Bar joins Joe Public’s growing portfolio of food, drink and FMCG clients following our launch in February 2026, alongside brands and businesses including Sneak Energy, Whitworth Bros, The Juice Burst Drinks Co and Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I’s Minus 196.

We’re excited to help Barista Bar take its story – and great coffee – to even more customers, retailers and locations.
